    The Nashville Predators may be on the brink of losing their captain after the Philadelphia Flyers signed him to an offer sheet reportedly worth $110 million over 14 seasons in the NHL lines. According to numerous reports, Shea Weber’s contract offer includes several bonuses that would be paid out primarily in the first couple of years. After taking a year off, formally retiring from the NHL after the 2010 season with the Detroit Red Wings, the 42-year-old Mike Modano states he’s “intrigued” by the thought of a return.     Rick Nash’s name has been on the trading block in the NHL lines for quite some time now. You can’t really blame the Columbus Blue Jackets for shopping their franchise player after the season they just had. Finishing last in the league and still finding a way to lose yet again must have been tough. Losing the draft lottery to the Edmonton Oilers was the exclamation mark to one of their worst season in the NHL lines.
