Posted by Brett Nielson on 10/7/2010 12:49:31 PM

Baltimore may just be the best team in the AFC North, but the (2-2) Broncos are hungry to make a move in an AFC West conference that is wide open this NFL betting online season.

(2-2) Denver Broncos at (3-1) Baltimore Ravens
Live from M&T Bank Stadium – MD
Kickoff: 1:00 PM EST Sunday, October 10, 2010
Broadcast: CBS

NorthBet NFL Game Odds:
Baltimore Ravens -7
Denver Broncos +7
Total 38.5

If I would have told you at the beginning of the season that Kyle Orton would be league leader in passing yards after Week 4, I probably would also be looking for a new job. Orton has had a wealth of success this NFL betting online season amassing 1,419 yards in just four games.

This puts him on pace to throw for 5,676 yards on the season - pro bowl anyone?

Admittedly, Orton has faced some poor pass defenses -the Jaguars ranked second-to-last in the league, Seattle is third worst, and Indianapolis has already allowed 6 pass touchdowns on the year.

This NFL betting online Sunday however, Orton has his least favorable matchup of the season. Denver is scheduled to play the Ravens this week who just happen to be ranked first overall in pass defense.

Baltimore have stumped every quarterback they have faced this season. Carson Palmer produced the best performance against the Ravens so far this season, throwing for just 167 yards and no touchdowns in Week 2.

The Ravens have given up a league low 476 passing yards in their past four games, including just one touchdown through the air.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, on the other hand, proved his worth last week against the Steelers, throwing for 256 yards and a touchdown against one of the league's toughest defenses.

This week, Flacco is facing the NFL's 17th-ranked pass defense, allowing an average of 221.8 passing yards per game so far this season. The Broncos have also allowed 8 passing touchdowns in just four games (25th in the league).

Flacco has multiple weapons at his disposal including Anquan Boldin, veteran Derrick Mason, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, tight end Todd Heap and hopefully a healthy Ray Rice.

NFL Betting Online: Bet on the Baltimore Ravens (-7).
