VIDEO - Tebow Can Run, But Can He Throw?

Posted by Ashley Carmichael on 10/25/2011 9:13:05 AM

Going into Week 7 the Denver Broncos were in a pickle between Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow.

Based on how the season has been going so far with Orton starting, Denver saw this game, against a winless Miami team, as an opportunity to test the young Tebow.

As a starter Tim Tebow has a record of 1-2, dating back to last season.  With potential to become the future starter, Tim Tebow led the Broncos into Miami on Sunday.

The Denver Broncos found themselves trailing by fifteen in the middle of the fourth quarter and probably left the Broncos front office wondering if they should begin thinking about entering the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes.

That is until Tim Tebow led his team to a comeback victory, in a very John Elway-esque fashion.  Scoring eighteen unanswered points, Tebow showed Denver and the NFL why he was drafted. He’s a winner.

Tim Tebow was known throughout college as a winner, finally Denver reaps the benefits of drafting him in the first round.

With his first start of the year Tebow had 226 all-purpose yards and threw for two touchdowns, and most importantly, got a victory.  Take a seat Kyle Orton, it is Tebow time.
