They're two head coaches probably headed to the Hall of Fame; but, which one would you want on your sideline during this Super Bowl?

Belichick And Coughlin Hall Of Famers

There's no doubt that Patriots coach Bill Belichick is a first ballot Hall-of-Famer with 5 Conference Championships and 3 Super Bowl titles in the last 10 years of his career. But, with the Giants reaching their 2nd Super Bowl in 5 years, many are realizing that Giants head coach Tom Coughlin should probably be considered to be in Canton someday.

Belichick Has Brady, Coughlin Is An Underdog

During his tenure in New England, Belichick has coached some of the best teams in NFL history along with having one of the best quarterbacks of all-time. Coughlin, meanwhile, has mainly played the role of the underdog during his coaching career. Last time the Patriots met the Giants in the Super Bowl, the Giants were 12 and half point underdogs.

This year, the Super Bowl odds are a bit more favorable for the Giants (currently 3-point underdogs) but it would still be one of the biggest turnarounds by an NFL team if they can pull it off again against the Patriots.

The Giants were 6-6 after dropping 4 straight games in November and were pretty much dead in the water.

Coughlin And Manning Led Giants Back

It was a combination of the leadership of quarterback Eli Manning and Coughlin's grittiness that led this team back from the dead, winning 3 of their final 4 regular season games, and following up with 3 playoff victories against the Falcons, Packers, and 49ers (teams with a combined regular season record of 38-10).

No Doubt About Belichick

Of course you can't doubt Belichick's ability as a coach (especially with two weeks of preparation and a bit of a grudge against the Giants for ruining the Patriots perfect season in 2007). He's the best all-around couch in the league with the best quarterback.

But, if your team were underdogs, there's one guy that you would love as your coach, and that's Tom Coughlin.
