The two AFC East undefeated teams will face each other this NFL lines Sunday with the hopes of taking the lone reign of their competitive division.

The New England Patriots enter this NFL lines match as a clear favorite – and rightfully so – set at a -8 spread. The reason why the Patriots are so heavily favored despite the fact that both these teams are undefeated is because their All-Pro quarterback Tom Brady has truly been unstoppable.

In his two first NFL lines games, Brady has already totaled 940 passing yards (yes, that’s right, 940), while completing 71.6 percent of his passing attempts. He’s scored 7 touchdowns through the air, and limited his interception count to only 1, thus giving him an outstanding 128.0 passer rating. If the 34-year-old quarterback keeps up this pace, he could be heading for a 7,500-yard season to go along with 52 touchdowns (effectively shattering Dan Marino’s all-time record of 5,084 yards and Brady’s own 50-touchdown record).

Plus, he has put up these record-breaking numbers against two very solid passing defenses in Miami and San Diego. Last NFL lines season, the San Diego Chargers ranked first overall in the league in regards to pass defense, averaging 178 yards allowed per game. Also, the Miami Dolphins (of whom the Patriots faced in Week 1), ranked eighth last year, limiting opposing offenses to just 209 aerial yards per match.

This week, however, Brady and Co. will be matched up with a much more generous defense – the Buffalo Bills.

Against fairly poor offenses, the Bills have not really managed to set up a stable defense, in any sense of the word. True, they did limit the Chiefs to only seven points in Week 1, but with the score 20-0 before halftime, I’ll go ahead and say that NFL liens games was a fluke.

Last Sunday, Buffalo showed their true colors against an awful Oakland Raiders passing offense. Even though Oakland was missing their top two receiving threats in Jacoby Ford and Darrius Heyward-Bey, the Bills still managed to give over 320 passing yards and 2 touchdowns to Jacob Campbell – all the while making rookie receiver Denarius Moore look like Randy Moss in his prime.

Just like in each of their other previous matches, look for Tom Brady to pick apart this sieve-like Bills defense and bring home another ‘W’.

Messina Mention: Tom Brady posted 6 touchdowns, 0 interceptions and nearly 400 yards in their two matchups combined last season.

Marcello’s Prediction: New England Patriots: 37, Buffalo Bills: 18

NFL Expert Pick: New England Patriots: -8
