NFL Expert Picks - Thanksgiving Day

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions
Thursday, November 24, 2011
12:30 PM ET

NFL Lines
Packers -6.5
Lions +6.5
Total 55.5

Our View:
Jay Cutler shredded this Lions defines in Week 10 for 37 points. Imagine what Aaron Rodgers could do? Rodgers is on par with Tom brady's 2007 record-setting season when he threw an NFL record 50 touchdowns.

The Packers will be without starting running back James Starks due to a knee injury, but that's like not having a 5th cupholder in a Mercedes-Benz.

Miami Dolphins at Dallas Cowboys
Thursday, November 24, 2011
4:15 PM ET

NFL Lines
Dolphins +7
Cowboys -7
Total 45

Our View:
The Dolphins, yes the same team that lost 7 straight games to start the season, have been on fire in the last 3 weeks. They have given up 3, 9, and 8 points respectively and have outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points in each of their last 3 contests.

To put that into comparison, the undefeated Packers have outscored opponents by just over 19 points per game since Week 9. The 'Fins will keep this one close.

San Francisco 49ers at Baltimore Ravens
Thursday, November 24, 2011
8:20 PM ET

NFL Lines
49ers +3
Ravens -3
Total 40

Our View:
Harbough versus Harbough. This will be a slugfest, in the trenches-type game. Frank Gore should be a go for the 49ers and they'll need him to help control the game against the Ravens. Baltimore running back Ray Rice has 6 touchdowns in the last 4 games, leading the Ravens to 3 victories.

We like the Ravens in the Turkey Day finale.
