NorthBet NFL Game Odds:
Cincinnati Bengals -3
Cleveland Browns +3
Total 37

1. Bengals Defense

Aside from their 38-24 loss to the Patriots in Week 1, the Bengals defense has performed quite well. They have only allowed 17 points in their past two games combined against Baltimore and Carolina.

Cincinnnati's run defense only gave up 87 yards to Ray Rice in Week 2 and 64 yards to DeAngelo Williams this past week, letting neither of them get into the end zone.

Cincinnati's pass defense is also playing at a top level, accounting for 5 interceptions so far (3rd in the league).

2. Cedric Benson

With doubts surrounding his recovery from an injured knee, Cedric Benson has managed to accumulate 202 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.

Benson should be able to run for a ton of yards against a terrible Browns run defense. Cleveland is positioned as the 21st run defense, giving up an average of 122.7 rush yards per game.

Cleveland's starting DT Shaun Hill will not be participating in Sunday's game because of an ankle injury, leaving 24-year-old backup nose tackler Ahtyba Rubin to fill in.

3. Carson Palmer

Carson Palmer has had a mediocre year so far. He's averaging a touchdown and an interception per game this NFL betting season.

Palmer had 345 passing yards and two touchdowns in Week 1 versus a poor New England defense and he threw for 195 passing yards and one touchdown last week against Carolina.

Expect him to exploit a matchup against a terrible Cleveland pass defense that gave up 245 passing yards a year ago, ranking 29th overall.
