NFL Betting Lines - Pick Eagles And The Under

With Brett Favre likely out, the Philadelphia Eagles are the NFL betting lines pick to cover. If you like parlays and totals, play the under (41.5).

If it weren’t for Tom Brady having his best season since he broke the NFL single season passing touchdown (50 TDs) record in 2007, Michael Vick would be MVP and Comeback Player of the Year.

Brady recently set a record for most pass attempts without an interception and leads the league in passer rating (109.8) and touchdowns to interception ratio (34:4).

Vick however, is not far behind with a 103.6 passer rating (third in the NFL), propelling the Eagles to the league’s top-ranked offense. He is having his best year as a pro and is doing it despite missing three and a half games with a rib injury and not starting on opening day.

Meanwhile, Brett Favre has pretty much been ruled out for Tuesday’s game, after suffering a concussion last week. Favre has not been cleared to play and there are no scheduled tests before the matchup.

With third-stringer Joe Webb under center, Andy Reid will be dialing up the blitzes all night. Even if Adrian Peterson starts, he can expect to see at least nine in the box Alllllll Dayyyy.

With the New York Giants loss to the Green Bay Packers this weekend, the Eagles clinched the NFC East title. Vick could see an early exit in this one, but backup Kevin Kolb is no slouch.

Kolb was named the starter at the beginning of the NFL betting lines year and threw for over 1,000 yards during Vick’s injury. Besides, Vick will play until the Eagles have at least a three score lead so not too much to worry about here.

Without Favre, the Vikings just won’t be able to put points up on the board. They’ll be lucky to get two scores.

Forecasted winds between 11-18 mph make for tough conditions for backup Joe Webb. Take the Eagles (-14) and the Under (41.5) with confidence.
