Realizing their potential. After a disappointing NFL betting lines campaign last season, the Atlanta Falcons have done just that this year.

New Orleans Saints (10-4) At Atlanta Falcons (12-2)

Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
Broadcast: ESPN

NFL Betting Lines
New Orleans +2.5
Atlanta -2.5
Total 49.5

At 12-2 and sitting two games ahead the defending Super Bowl champions, the Falcons are one victory away from securing their first NFC South division title since 2004.

Led by one of the most efficient offenses in the league, the Falcons haven’t lost since Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles (10-4, 1st in NFC East). Atlanta’s only other defeat this year was Week 1 in overtime against the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-4, 1st in AFC North).

The Falcons offense has yet to commit more than two turnovers in an NFL betting lines contest this season, and have only turned the ball over five times in six home games.

Starting quarterback Matt Ryan’s 19-1 career home record is owed in large part to his ability to keep his offense on the field by eliminating mistakes.

Ryan did not throw an interception in 12 of those 20 home games and sports a 4:1 touchdown to interception ratio in matchups at the Georgia Dome this year.

The New Orleans Saints meanwhile, had a rough go of it at the start of the season, losing three of their first seven games. After a devastating 30-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns on October 24th, the Saints seemed to be falling apart.

However, a win the following week against the Steelers catalyzed a 6 game winning streak that once again catapulted New Orleans into the NFL betting lines playoff picture.

Last week the Saints suffered a difficult 30-24 loss against the Baltimore Ravens and will now have to go into the only place in the NFC where no visiting team has won this NFL betting lines year.

The Falcons will get the sweep over the Saints and secure the NFC South title. This is sure to be one of the best Monday Night game’s of the year and will probably come down to a game-winning field goal.

Take the Falcons (-2.5) before you lose the half point.
