A rocky start to the season resulted in the Colts finishing with their worst record since 2001, yet they still managed to retain their seventh division championship in eight years.

Since their three-game losing streak at the end of November and first part of December, Indianapolis has won four consecutive contests.

Injuries plagued the Colts throughout 2010, with running back Joseph Addai going down for the majority of the year and all-pro tight end Dallas Clark landing on injured reserve in Week 7.

Wide receiver Pierre Garcon missed a couple of games with a leg injury and slot receiver, Austin Collie, has literally been knocked out of a total of seven games by two viscous concussions and their lingering effects.

Collie was on pace to have a breakout year, having totaled six touchdowns in the Colts firs six NFL betting lines games alone.

On December 22nd, the Colts placed him on injured reserve, a huge blow to Indy’s passing attack as they gear up for the playoffs.

New York Jets pro bowl corner back Darrelle Revis will be blanketing Colts number one receiver Reggie Wayne, so (a now healthy) Garcon, tight end Jacob Tamme, and Collie’s replacement Blair White will shoulder the receiving load for Manning.

After beginning the 2011 NFL betting lines season 9-2, the Jets lost three of their last five games and dropped to second place in the AFC East behind the New England Patriots (14-2).

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez threw 16 touchdowns in his first 11 games, but faltered down the stretch.

The second year pro threw just one touchdown and five interceptions in New York’s last four contests.

In what will be their first matchup of the 2010-11 NFL betting lines season, all the momentum is on Indianapolis’ side.

Manning has been clicking with his replacement weapons and Joseph Addai’s return to the backfield will open up opportunities for big plays in the passing game.
