With Reggie Bush coming back after suffering a broken fibula in Week 2, the Saints offense is prepared to make a run for the NFL betting lines playoffs.

The 2010 NFL Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints are currently trying to maintain a wild card spot in the NFC.  This time last year, the 9-0 Saints were looking as the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

At 6-3, the Saints are having a less than stellar NFL betting lines season this time around, and the former Super Bowl champions aren’t even favorites to win their division.

This week, the Seattle Seahawks – currently first place in the NFC West - will look to hand the Saints their first loss of the month.

If the Saints fall, the defeat would drop them into third place in their division, putting this New Orleans Saints team in jeopardy of missing the playoffs.

Coming off last week’s bye, New Orleans is looking rejuvenated.  Perhaps Reggie Bush’s return will provide a spark for the Saints offense.

In Bush’s second outing of the year, he caught 5 passes for 33 yards and ran for 14 yards on 2 rushes.  Although he left the game, Bush averaged 6.7 yards a touch.  If Bush is back to full health, the bookend of the NFL betting lines season is looking promising for the Saints.
