Rodgers was on pace to have another career season before he was concussed in a 7-3 loss against the Detroit Lions on December 12th.

Prior to that matchup, the pro bowl quarterback threw for 11 touchdowns in four games and averaged 308 yards per contest.

The Packers had won five of six before Rodgers was knocked out early in the Detroit game with a concussion. Green Bay’s starting quarterback was also forced to miss last week’s game against the New England Patriots, as the Packers fell 31-27 in Foxboro.

Green Bay’s two game losing streak has dropped the Pack from a game behind the division leading Chicago Bears (10-4) to fighting for a wild card spot.

A win against the New York Giants (9-5) on Sunday would push the Packers into the sixth and final playoff spot in the NFC with one game remaining in the regular season.

The magnitude of the Giants crumble last Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles goes without saying. New York surrendered the division lead and fell into a tight wild card race with the New Orleans Saints (10-4), Packers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-6).

The Giants surrendered 28 fourth quarter points in their 38-31 loss against the Eagles, making it one of the worst come-from-behind defeats in franchise history.

Lambeau Field has once again become a place where the Packers are almost unbeatable. The green and gold are 5-1 at home this NFL betting lines season, with their only loss coming in overtime against the Miami Dolphins back in mid-October.

The forecast of snow and 20 degree weather sounds like a winning combination for the Packers this Sunday.

Propelled by their dedicated fans and the return of Aaron Rodgers, the pack will play themselves back into the NFL betting lines playoff picture.
