At last, the faceoff between Randy Moss and the New England Patriots has arrived. Here are the top 3 reasons why the Vikings will win this North Bet Sunday.

NorthBet NFL Betting Online:
New England Patriots -6
Minnesota Vikings +6
Total 43.5

1. New England’s Secondary

Whether it be Brett Favre or Tarvaris Jackson under center for the Vikings, Minnesota will surely score at least two touchdowns through the air this North Bet Sunday.

The Patriots rank 30th in the league against the pass, allowing over 280 yards per game, including 336 to Phillip Rivers and the Chargers a week ago. They have also given 12 passing touchdowns so far this North Bet season, 25th in the NFL.

Minnesota, has had to face some difficult secondaries thus far this North Bet season, and will surely take advantage of this juicy matchup.

Expect either Favre or Jackson to exploit New England’s weak pass defense, connecting with Randy Moss and Percy Harvin for multiple scores.

2. Minnesota’s Pass Rush

Yes, I am fully aware that the Vikings pass rush has been completely non-existent. However, I believe that this is the week their defensive line gets their act together.

New England’s offensive line is not what it used to be. With an average age of 30.2 years old, they have more years behind than ahead, and it is beginning to reflect in their performance.

Tom Brady has been sacked 12 times in 6 games this North Bet season, and more often than not, he is frequently scrambling out of the pocket as he tries to prevent yet another sack.

There is no way New England’s offensive line will be able to contain Jared Allen, Ray Edwards and the ‘Williams Wall’ this North Bet Sunday.

3. Randy Moss

The addition of future Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss will help Minnesota double-time in this matchup against the Patriots.

Not only do the Vikings gain an All-Star wideout, but they also happened to acquire the opposition’s biggest offensive threat.

Randy has already become a leader in Minnesota. I see him on the sidelines offering ideas for crucial plays, getting his teammates pumped up, and doing other little things that leaders are supposed to do.

It will only be a matter of time before Moss also becomes a statistical leader for Minnesota. There wouldn’t be a better time for him to go off than against the New England Patriots this North Bet Sunday night.

NFC North Bet: Minnesota Vikings (+6).
