NFC North Bet Odds
Washington Redskins +2.5
Detroit Lions -2.5
Total 44

Despite their best efforts, the Detroit Lions have started yet another NFC North bet season with a losing record.

With so much promise coming into the year, the Lions fell in their first two games against the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles. Detroit’s season quickly took a turn for the worst, losing three of their next four contests.

Some good news this week for Detroit, however as starting quarterback Matthew Stafford, who has been sidelined with a shoulder injury since Week 1, returns under center.

Stafford will face one of the league’s poorest pass defenses this weekend.

The Redskins currently rank second-to-last against the pass, allowing an average of nearly 300 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks.

Washington also ranks in the lower half of the league for most passing touchdowns allowed, having permitted 10 thus far this North Bet season.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz will look to set Stafford up for numerous chances against the Redskins.

Detroit’s star wide receiver Calvin Johnson is 5 inches taller than any corner on Washington’s roster and sure to be a handful.

The Lions earn their second win of this season against the Washington Redskins this NFC North Bet Sunday.

NFC North Bet Pick: Detroit Lions (-2.5).
