Come-from-behind victories have defined the start of the Sacramento Kings 2010-11 NBA NorthBet betting lines season.

Los Angeles Lakers (4-0) At Sacramento Kings (3-1)

NorthBet NBA Betting Lines
Los Angeles Lakers -5
Sacramento Kings +5
Total 208.5

The Kings rallied from a 16-point deficit in a 107-104 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday and stormed back from a similar slow start in a 111-108 win against the Toronto Raptors on Monday.

Sacramento has one of the youngest starting lineups in the NBA, with Tyreke Evans, last year’s Rookie of the Year, leading the way. Evans is already averaging 20.7 points per game, with noticeable improvements made to his jump shot.

The 6’ 6” guard shot just 25.5% from three-point range last NorthBet NBA betting lines season, but has already sunk three of five from distance this year.

Evans has moved to shooting guard this season with point guard Beno Udrih taking on the majority of ball handling duties. Udrih and Evans start in the backcourt alongside second-year small forward Omri Casspi.

An agile frontcourt is led by third-year power forward Carl Landry and rookie 6’ 11” center DeMarcus Cousins.

The Kings are going in the right direction, but it will be at least a couple of years before they can compete with a team like the Lakers.

I liken this year’s Kings to the Oklahoma City Thunder team when Kevin Durant was a rookie. The pieces are in place, but they still need time to develop chemistry as a unit.

The Los Angeles Lakers are still the best team in the NBA and I have them in line for their second three-peat of the decade. Kobe Bryant with Phil Jackson is like Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. As long as they stay together, they will always be competitive.

Bryant’s supporting cast seems to be even better than last year’s championship team, with the emergence of guard Shannon Brown (who has a 5,000-inch vertical by the way) and Matt Barnes playing some of the best basketball of his career.

Now For Some NorthBet Betting Numbers
The Over is 10-2 in the last 12 games the Lakers played in Sacramento.
The Over is 8-0 in Sacramento’s last eight games
The Lakers are 3-1 ATS this season
