110 days ago, LeBron James announced his final ‘Decision’ that would take him on the next flight to South Beach, joining fellow teammates and NBA stars Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

Wade suffered a hamstring injury in the preseason but stated that he is ready to go for Tuesday’s game in Boston.

Rarely has this sort of talent been found on one team, apart from an actual NBA All-Star roster. However, it will be intriguing to watch how James, Wade, and Bosh will mesh as the most hated trio in the NBA.

Yes, they played together on the gold medal Redeem Team and they are best friends, but it’s tough being despised by 29 NBA teams and their entire fan bases when you haven’t even won a championship yet.

Lest we forget, the Boston Celtics took the Lakers to game seven of the NBA Finals this past summer, and have added some interesting pieces to the mix this NorthBet offseason.

Shaquille and Jermaine O’Neal were brought in to beef up the Boston’s frontcourt and will replace injured starting center Kendrick Perkins. Although probably in the final days of their careers, the O’Neal tandem will provide the interior defending and rebounding that was sorely missed in Game 6 and 7 of last year’s NBA Finals.

The Celtics are one of the strongest defensive teams in the NBA betting lines. 2008 NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Kevin Garnett is healthy and all-star point guard Rajon Rondo will provide the perimeter defending to ignite Boston’s transition game. Rondo led the NBA with 2.3 steals per game last NBA betting lines season.

It will be difficult for Miami to get in a rhythm playing on the road against an NBA team that prides itself on defense. The Celtics will slow the pace of the game, limiting James’ and Wade’s touches in transition.

Garnett is one of the best interior defenders in the league and will be trouble for Chris Bosh to get his offense going on the block. South Beach will have to wait for their first win of the 2010-11 NBA betting lines season.
