What a thriller this NBA lines matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the Oklahoma City Thunder will be!

Two of the NBA’s most prolific offenses will take the court looking to take full advantage of some of the weakest defense in the league.

Led by captain Steve Nash, Phoenix has averaged 105.1 points per game so far this season (3rd overall). The Suns are shooting 47.3 percent (2nd overall) from the field and rank in the top 10 in three-point percentage (37.7%).

After trading their starting shooting guard and leading scorer Jason Richardson to the Orlando Magic in return for Vince Carter, Nash has had to shoulder more of the offensive load and is currently Pheonix’s top scorer.

Nash is averaging 16.8 points per game this NBA lines season, along with 11.1 assists per game.Phoenix should have no problem exploiting Oklahoma City’s poor defense, a unit that allows 102.5 points per game (21st overall).

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City has the 5th ranked offense in NBA lines, posting an average of 104.2 points per game. The majority of the credit for this offensive success goes to their 22-year-old small forward Kevin Durant.

Durant is leading the NBA in scoring, posting an average of 29.3 points per game. He has a 47.2% field goal percentage and is shooting 35% from behind the arc.

The Thunder definitely have the means to dominate Phoenix’s 28th ranked defense (106.3 points allowed per game). Take the over in this run-n-gun matchup - especially with both teams coming off two days rest.

Brett’s Prediction: Oklahoma City Thunder: 119, Phoenix Suns: 114

Nielson Notice: The Thunder are averaging 109 points per game in their last 10 contests.
