The Miami Heat are coming off a disappointing loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and would like to rebound against the Atlanta Hawks this NBA lines Friday.

Approximately to weeks ago on March 8, the Miami Heat were on a five-game losing streak, and seemed to be in quite the funk. They had lost big games to the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls and even given a season-high 30-point deficit by the San Antonio Spurs.

Luckily, though, they were able to get back on their feet on Thursday, March 10 when they beat the Los Angeles Lakers 94-88. The Heat then followed that win an NBA lines victory over the Memphis Grizzles, and another one over the San Antonio Spurs. They actually returned San Antonio’s favor by handing them a 30-point loss of their own.

In spite of their momentum, however, Miami couldn’t find it in themselves to best Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder this Wednesday; they lost the match 96-85.

But regardless of their single loss to Oklahoma City, the Heat appear to have found their road to success. After their March 8 matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers had concluded and the Heat were handed their fifth consecutive loss, one Miami player took it upon himself to publicly state why his team was lacking success.

Power forward Chris Bosh had declared that he was unsatisfied with his role offensively, as his team was not recognizing his ability to be aggressive.

“I just have to get it where I’m effective… I can shoot the ball but I’m a big man… [I’m] effective down in the post are, so that is where I need to start getting the ball,” he said.

From the looks of it, Miami has taken notice to his complaint, and given him what he wanted. In return, the 6’9” power forward has delivered for his team.

Bosh has averaged 23.25 points in his last four games, a big step up from his average of 18.4 this NBA lines season – he has also been Miami’s leading scorer during two of those matches.

Marcello’s Prediction: Miami Heat: 104, Atlanta Hawks: 93

Messina Mention: Miami Heat power Chris Bosh has averaged 27 points per game throughout his career when playing the Atlanta Hawks – his second biggest average.

NBA Expert Pick: Miami Heat (-6)
