NBA Lines: Miami Heat Take The 2 Seed

Posted by Ashley Carmichael on 4/14/2011 8:40:09 AM

The Miami Heat will face the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the NBA lines playoffs.

To Win the Eastern Conference
Orlando +800
Boston +400
Chicago +200
Miami +160

With Lebron James and Dwyane Wade as the number two and three leading scorers in NBA Lines, it’s going to be interesting to see if Philadelphia can come away with one victory in a playoff series against the Heat.

Wade is averaging 25.8 points per game, whereas two-time MVP Lebron James averages 26.6.  If one has an off game, it doesn’t really matter, as the other has the tendency to make up for it.  This is the most prolific scoring duo in the league right now.

Lebron James is averaging three less points and 1.6 assists less than last year, when he was the unanimous league MVP.  James is deserving of the title, despite his minor decrease in averages.  Maybe his sacrifice will pay off with an NBA Championship.

Who is going to win four games in a seven game series against the Miami Heat?  Too much athleticism, speed and offensive weaponry for teams to handle.

In addition, Miami is eighth in the league in opponent points allowed with 95.1 per NBA lines game.

It has been five years since Dwyane Wade led the Heat to an NBA Championship, maybe the addition of Lebron James and Chris Bosh will lead to another banner for Miami.
