Since being traded to the New York Knicks, Carmelo Anthony seems to feel right at home.

NorthBet Numbers: New York Knicks are 33-19-2 ATS this season.

The Denver Nuggets finalized a deal that turned Carmelo Anthony into a New York Knick last Monday, putting an end to much speculation on where the star would end up.

In addition to draft picks and cash, the Nuggets received Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov and a 2014 first-round draft pick.

The Knicks obtained Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman in return.

This is a great move for both teams, but it mostly favors the Nuggets, who would have lost Anthony in exchange for nothing this summer when he becomes a free agent.

The Knicks – now with Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony – have significantly improved their offense and are already one of my favorites to make it deep into this year’s playoffs.
Thus far with his new team, small forward Carmelo Anthony has been performing exceptionally well.

Melo scored 27 points in both of his games with the Knicks, shooting 40.4 percent from the field, 60 percent from beyond the 3-point line, and averaging nine rebounds per NBA lines game.
Anthony has also seemed to boost his fellow teammates’ morale, including All-Star Amare Stoudemire. In the Knicks’ last game, Stoudemire scored 31 points, corralled 11 rebounds, and shot 51.9 percent from the field.

The Knicks revamped offense should put Orlando’s 5th-ranked defense to the test this Tuesday.

Despite the fact that the Magic are only allowing an average of 94.1 points per game this NBA lines season, they should be bested by New York’s offense that has scored 217 points in just 2 games since the Melo trade.
