NorthBet Numbers: Chicago Bulls are 38-16 ATS this season.

The 6’ 11” Noah will play his first game in over two months this Wednesday after suffering an injury to his right hand. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau confirmed in an interview on Monday with ESPN Chicago that Noah would play this Wednesday in the team’s first game back from the All-Star break.

Ironically, Noah was injured mid-December in a 110-93 win over the Raptors. He tore ligaments in his right thumb, and needed surgery to repair the damage.

Noah missed a total of 30 games because of the surgery, and can’t wait to get back on the court.

The only possible downside to the four-year pro’s return will be the length of time he needs to readjust to game speed. “That’s the challenge,” Thibodeau said in an interview on Monday with ESPN. “Just like at the start of the season, the challenge is how quickly everyone can get on the same page. When someone comes back, it’s the same thing. You don’t want it to be a long adjustment.”

Fortunately for Chicago, Noah has been practicing, scrimmaging, and working on his conditioning and shooting after NBA lines practices with a teammate.

Nielson Notion: The return of Noah just might give the Chicago Bulls the boost they need to take over the top spot in the Eastern Conference – they are currently two games back from the first place Boston Celtics.
