NBA Lines
Portland +6.5
Dallas -6.5
Total 184

Two players totaling 28 years of NBA experience have been supremely responsible for the majority of  the Dallas Mavericks offense.  The Mavericks have the NBA’s fourth leading scorer in Dirk Nowitzki, and the fifth leading assist man in Jason Kidd.

Nowitzki, at age 32, is averaging 25.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game while, Jason Kidd, at the tender age of 37, is posting 8.9 assists per contest.

In his 16th season, Jason Kidd still is one of the league’s best passers.  Second on the all-time assist leader board with 11,136, Kidd had 10 assists in Monday’s loss.

This Wednesday, Portland, who has struggled, takes a trip down to Dallas to hopefully break their two-game losing streak.

Dirk Nowitzki, however, is having an MVP-type season, similar to his year in 2007 when he won the award.  Expect a 20-point and 10 rebound NBA lines game from Nowitzki, leading his team back to their winning style.

NBA Lines Pick – Dallas (-6.5)
