NBA Lines – Chicago Bulls Claim First Place

The Chicago Bulls have claimed the top NBA lines spot in the East after a victory over the Washington Wizards.

NBA Lines
To Win Regular Season MVP
Derrick Rose -500
LeBron James 140
Dwight Howard 700
Amare Stoudemire 700

NorthBet Numbers: Chicago Bulls are 41-23-2 ATS this season.

The Chicago Bulls have risen from being the third seed in the Eastern Conference to the top seed in less than a month.
It was only about two weeks ago when the Bulls were in third place, sitting 1 game behind the second-seeded Miami Heat and 2.5 behind the leading Boston Celtics.
But after producing a seven-game winning streak, Chicago has risen to the top of the Eastern Conference. The Bulls have won 10 of their last 11 matches, netting some pretty big games against playoff-contending teams.

During their last 11 matches, they have bested elite squads like the (42-26) Orlando Magic, the (39-28) Atlanta Hawks, and the (39-30) New Orleans Hornets.
Though, I am sure that none of those victories were sweeter than their last matchup with the Miami Heat on Sunday, March 6, when the Bulls completed their 3-game NBA lines season sweep on the Heat.

Chicago earned their top seed in the East with a 98-79 victory the Washington Wizards on Tuesday. The win was a just a testament to how far this squad has grown as of recent.

The Bulls were missing two key players, with 6’11” center Joakim Noah out with an illness, and 8-year-pro power forward Carlos Boozer sidelined with an ankle injury.
Unsurprisingly, point guard Derrick Rose was Chicago’s leading scorer with 23 points throughout the game.

Messina Mouthful: Even with the risk of a -500 spread, if the Chicago Bulls finish the season first in the East, bet on Derrick Rose to be the 2011 regular season MVP.
