NBA Betting Lines
Celtics +7
Heat -7
Total 184.5

Both the Heat and Celtics are coming off two-point defeats, perhaps because they are already looking ahead to tonight’s matchup. The Heat seam to have figured out the pecking order in their star-studded lineup - it’s still Dwayne Wade’s team, LeBron is a distributor/scorer and will take over a game when he needs to, and Chris Bosh is their low post scoring threat.

The big problem for Miami, is they don’t matchup well with the Celtics frontcourt and Bosh and PF Udonis Haslem have difficulty competing on the low post with Boston’s size.

When they faced each other earlier this NBA betting lines season, the Celtics held Miami to 36.5% shooting from the field and Boston scored 38 of their 88 points in the paint.

Rondo contributed 17 assists, fueling the hot hands of SG Ray Allen and SF Paul Pierce when they were feeling it during the game. Boston led 45-30 at halftime and if it weren’t for a 3rd quarter explosion from LeBron James, this game would have been a blowout.

James dropped 15 in the period cutting the Celtics lead to 63-57. However, timely shooting and defending (staples of this Boston Celtics team) would prove to be too much for the new-look Heat.

Miami, however is 3-1 at home and hasn’t scored less than 92 points since facing the Celtics on opening night.

Dwayne Wade has rekindled his form, after going 4-16 from the field and recording six turnovers in the loss in Boston on October 26th. Wade is averaging 26 points per game, and shooting a career high 42.3% from three-point range in eight 8 games so far this NBA betting lines season.

Look for the Heat to even the score with the Celtics tonight. Boston PF Jermaine O’Neal has been scratched from the lineup, which is a blow to their interior defense and rebounding.

NBA Betting Lines Prediction – Miami Heat (-7)
