Free Weekly Contest Rules
How does the new free weekly fantasy contest work?
We wanted to give our customers the easiest, most convenient, weekly fantasy contests possible. We have changed our weekly format to a salary cap format that will give our customers the flexibility to choose who they want, when they want. There are no more drafts restricting you to a specific time to choose your roster. You can now enter the contest and select your roster at your convenience and choose any players you want within your salary cap, up to 10 minutes before kickoff. This process usually takes no more than 5-10 minutes.
How does the salary cap format work?
A salary cap style contest is the easiest and quickest way to select a team. Once you select “Enter Free Weekly Contest” you can select your lineup/roster. The established Salary Cap is $100,000, so you essentially run your team like a real General Manager. You must stay at or under the salary cap for all the combined players you select for the given week. You have until Sundays at 12:50 ET to enter the weekly contests. You are able to edit your lineup until the individual players’ games begin. Once a game has started, players in that game become locked. Make sure to validate you have a correct roster loaded. Illegal rosters will be disqualified from the contest. A roster can be defined as illegal if it has exceeded the weekly salary cap of $100,000 or contains any unfilled spots.
What are the entry requirements to participate in Northbet’s fantasy football contests?
All you need to play fantasy football is a Northbet account.
What is the entry fee to enter a contest?
Weekly contests are free to join. This is done as a courtesy to account holders.
How do I enter the weekly contests?

You will then be taken to the prize leagues page where you will join the salary cap contest listed. Simply click the “Enter Contest” button and you will be taken directly to the “Set Lineup” page where you can fill out and submit your roster. This process usually takes no more than 5-10 minutes.

I think I have players missing stats from my live scoring. How can I verify my stats?
Your player's stats will be shown on the Live Scoring page - you can compare this to any other source to verify if the statistics match. Please note that the stats shown on the Live Scoring page are not official, and are therefore subject to change, anytime within 24 hours of the final game of the week. NFL.com is used for official stats to determine weekly contest winners.
Why did my defense get penalized for scoring when they were not on the field?
The Points Against scoring category used for scoring Team Defense units counts all points scored by the opposing team, whether or not the defense was on the field. It is therefore possible that your DST unit will be penalized when they are not on the field.
