The Jets are 1-3 ATS in their last four games, with losses (ATS) coming against the Packers, Lions, and Texans. New York should have lost against the Cleveland Browns too, if not for an overtime fumble by Browns receiver Chansi Stuckey when Cleveland was already in field goal range.

What’s interesting, the Jets have won three straight yet haven’t created any separation in the AFC East. The New England Patriots (8-2) have kept pace with the Jets during their run and face the Detroit Lions (2-8) on Thanksgiving Day.

Second-year quarterback Mark Sanchez is having a breakout year as a leader and a bonafide winner. After leading New York to an improbable AFC Championship berth last year as a Wild Card, Sanchez represents the future for the Jets franchise.

He’s already eclipsed his passing touchdown season totals from a season ago and will surpass his previous season-high in passing yards (2,444) this weekend with 138 yards.

The Jets might not play pretty football, but then again that isn’t really their style. New York is 2-2 ATS at home.
