Led by an outstanding defensive effort, the Crimson Tide defeated Ole Miss 23-10 last weekend, after suffering their first defeat since 2008 against South Carolina on October 9.
Alabama’s balanced offensive attack accumulated 319 total yards, 219 through the air and 100 on the ground while, the Tide’s defense limited Ole Miss to a single field goal until the 4:40 mark in the fourth quarter.
The Crimson Tide seem to be over their loss, and with Ohio State losing last weekend, there is still hope for Alabama to vanquish a national title birth given their strength of schedule.
Speaking of brutal schedules, the Tennessee Volunteers have already played No. 1 Oregon, then-No.10 Florida, and No.6 LSU this college football betting season. The Volunteers lost all three contests and things don’t look like they will get any better for the rest of 2010.
This week they face No. 8 Alabama and next week they play away at No. 21 South Carolina. Facing five ranked opponents during the season, Tennessee may just have the hardest schedule in all of northbet college football betting.
The Crimson Tide are playing with a chip on their shoulder and the Volunteers don’t have a chance this weekend.
College Football Betting Pick: Alabama (-16.5)
