With another highly anticipated bowl season upon us, it’s never too early to start gearing up for the best part of the college football betting lines year.

Below are the bowl games that have already opened for wagering:

Rose Bowl

#3 TCU Horned Frogs (12-0) vs. #5 Wisconsin Badgers (11-1)

The TCU Horned Frogs accomplished their second consecutive undefeated regular season, but know that they must defeat the Wisconsin Badgers to prove their worth as they transition to the Big East Conference in 2011.

Wisconsin and TCU are both averaging 43.3 points per game (tied for 4th in the nation) however, the Horned Frogs sport the top-ranked defense in the country, surrendering just 11.4 points per contest.

Fiesta Bowl

Connecticut Huskies (8-4) vs. #7 Oklahoma Sooners (11-2)

The 17.5 points is warranted, with UCONN barely staying bowl eligible, winning two of their final five games by just a field goal.

The Sooners meanwhile, held the nation’s top ranking before falling to the No. 12 Missouri Tigers on October 23rd. Both of Oklahoma’s losses this season came on the road against conference opponents.

Orange Bowl

#4 Stanford Cardinal (11-1) vs. #13 Virginia Tech Hokies (11-2)

#6 Ohio State Buckeyes (11-1) vs. #8 Arkansas Razorbacks (10-2)
