NBA Lines: The Hawks Fly To Boston Without Joe Johnson

The Atlanta Hawks take a trip to play the Boston Celtics for their second NBA lines meeting of the season.

However, this time, they will be without team captain Joe Johnson. In November, the Hawks lost by 23 points to Boston.

Atlanta +7
Boston -7
Total 186.5

The Atlanta Hawks suffered an embarrassing 23-point loss this Tuesday against the (8-18) Detroit Pistons.

The Hawks continue their road trip to Boston where they’ll face a hot Celtics team who has won their last 11 games in a row.

If Boston defeats Atlanta, they will tie the longest winning streak of this NBA lines season.

Without their injured star, Atlanta is averaging an atrocious 93.4 points per game. With Johnson in the line-up, the Hawks have averaged 100 points a night.

Last November, the Boston Celtics held the Hawks to a season low 76 points.  No Atlanta player scored more than the 11 points put up by point guard Mike Bibby.

With one less star to focus on, Boston could have another big win at home, where they are 10-1 so far this NBA lines season.
