NBA Lines – Kings Visit Clippers
A west coast battle between 2009 NBA Lines Rookie of the Year, Tyreke Evans and this year’s leading candidate for Rookie of the Year, Blake Griffin, is must-see Thanksgiving Day game for all NBA fans.
Sacramento Kings (4-9) vs. LA Clippers (2-13)

Would last season’s Rookie of the Year race have been different if number one pick Blake Griffin didn’t miss the season because of a torn ACL in his knee?
I think you have to make the argument that Griffin would have been the favorite based on what he has already done for the Clippers in 15 games this year.
The former number one overall pick is averaging 18.9 points and 11 rebounds – leading all NBA rookies in both categories. According to NBA lines, the last rookie to average a double-double was 2004 Rookie of the Year Emeka Okafor, with 15.1 points and 10.9 rebounds.
Although Blake Griffin is having a sensational season, the Clippers have fallen to 2-13. From here the Clippers are on pace to win 12 games. If expectations become true, at least the Clippers won’t be remembered as the worst team in NBA history - the 1972 Philadelphia 76ers went 9-73.
The reigning Rookie of the Year, Tyreke Evans, will be productive against the soft defense of the Clippers. Guarded by Eric Gordon, the speed of Evans will be hard to match. Evans is averaging 18.9 points and 5 assists per game and the Clippers are undersized and inexperienced.
NBA Lines Pick - Bank on the Sacramento Kings (+2.5) to come away with the win.
